How much does a finance major make?

I'm preparing the graduate institute of the university in 2008 and I'm wondering what a first major financial year can be expected there the first year out. I have a 3 + GPA and I want to become and investment bank, all suggestions would be welcomed. My area of Finance has corporate finances.
